Lehmann-Peterson
Pages
Converted from the fabulous 1960s Lincoln
Continental platform,
Lehmann-Peterson built some of the greatest limousines ever.
Limousine great John
Bumgarner dates his fascination with limousines to the time he
saw the Lehmann-Peterson in the spectacular opening scene of the 1965 James Bond
film, Thunderball. "It was a scene with the car pulling through the
woods in front of a
big house... it was an oh my gosh car," he enthuses. After having
not only bought,
sold, ridden in and built limousines for over twenty years, but having had a personal
hand in the launch of an entire industry of long cars, its quite something to
hear from this man of an "oh my gosh" car.

This magnificent example, pictured here and below, saw service
at the
White House and the State Dept. here and abroad.
